Post 4: More Deals and FIBA

So, Kyle Korver signed with the Bucks. Hopefully he gets decent play time and doesn’t sit on the bench watching for the most of the season. He’ll be great playing around Giannis Antetokounmpo but I guess any good 3-pt shooter would be. Also, it seems that Chris Paul isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Chris Paul was expected to be traded from OKC to another team (*cough* *cough* Miami Heat) but it seems that no team has the cap space to take him in or the assets to trade for him. A cap space black hole, in other words.

More and more players are deciding to not play in the FIBA World Cup which is a bit surprising to me. Most of the top players (not Damian Lillard…. yet) want to spend the off-season working towards the next NBA season rather than the World Cup, which is understandable. It reminds me of how some top tier tennis players don’t go to the Olympics and instead train for the US Open. It means more to them.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd that’s it. Til next time.
